PADI ADVENTURE DIVER COURSE
Break the monotony! Why not try something different for a change?. Do you sometimes feel as a diver that you do not know enough? Now you can expand your scuba diving skills by signing up for the PADI Adventure Diver Course. Here you can try new areas of scuba diving that you’ve been interested in like navigation, nitrox, wreck diving and others. There is no better way to become good at something than to learn more about it. The PADI Adventure Diver Course will help to underpin your scuba diver abilities.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
The purpose of the PADI Adventure Diver Course is two fold: (1) to introduce Open Water Scuba Divers to new diving activities and thereby diversifying their overall scuba experience; (2) to strengthen their scuba knowledge so that they’ll become better at scuba diving. Prior to any adventure dives, however, students will review (a) basic open water scuba skills, (b) skin diver skills, and (c) basic rescue diver skills. To finish the course, students must complete two madatory Adventure Dives: the Deep and Navigation Adventures dives as well as one elective Adventure Dive from the list below. Next, student will complete the corresponding readings and Knowledge Reviews in the PADI Adventures in Diving Workbook:
• deep diving
• underwater photography
• boat diving
• underwater navigation
• fish identification, or
• night diving
Upon successful completion of this course students are considered competent enough to engage in open water diving activities up to 100 feet (33 meters). This course is appropriate for divers who: desire additional scuba training, have moved from one diving area to another and desire local orientation, wish to obtain a solid scuba diving background, desire orientation to a variety of diving sites and conditions. Prerequisite: Open Water Scuba Diver certification
WHAT DO I NEED TO START?
• Provide proof of having been certified as an Open Water Scuba Diver by an ISO approved certification organization.
• Fill out and submit a Medical History Form and a Liability and Release Agreement Form.
• If you are under the age of 15 you can earn a Jr. Adventure Diver Certification*!
*A Jr. Adventure Diver between the ages of 10 and 11 years may only dive with a Scuba Professional, a certified parent or certified guardian to a maximum depth of 30 meters/100 feet. We have special pricing for Jr. Open Water Divers due to limited size of classes.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?
There are three dives total required for the PADI Adventure Diver Course. The minimum number of days needed to complete the course is two: two dives the first day, and one day with a knowledge review consultation.

Scuba rental gear will be passed out to students before each class. Students are expected to take great care of the gear they are put in charge of during class. Any gear that is lost, stolen, or damaged must be replaced by students.
